The latest I've done is the anchor wells in the bow which I'm happy with, I guess I should take pictures more often.

My upcoming Bireme postings should be more detailed because my new phone has a good camera in it and I can do postings right from the phone. Almost all painting was done with a paint brush using a water base paint. I didn't seal the wood because it will never see water and is going to be sealed in a plexiglass display case. I gave the hull and decks a few coats of paint and still need to do one more coat of the camo colours. The spotlights which look like a yellow spot ahead of the first stack just aft of the wheelhouse was done with a yellow paint marker. The cannon barrel tips, deck vents and tops of the stacks were coloured with a couple of felt markers, one fine tip for the tight areas and a larger one to fill in bigger areas like the two stacks.
