Now that I am retired I have more time to dedicate to my favorite hobby. I began a group build for the Brig Syren back a few years ago. This scratch build was a group project that Chuck Prassaro started over at Model Ship World. The build later became a published kit. I still have the original practicum and will be finishing what I started a few years ago. I will post back pics and some info to get you up to where I am now on the build. This was my first POB build as I normally build hulls is POB style but make plugs for molds to make fiberglass hulls. This was my first ship going beyond making the bulkheads and bulkhead former... Before we just filled in the areas with foam and sanded to shape then applied fiberglass to make the mold. I will have to knock off the dust and check all the joints to ensure they are solid. It has been sitting on top of my shelf since 2007. I first took my files to Kinkos and had the prints made. This was my booklet, I had it bound so it would stay in one piece! ![]() For a larger view, click here! ![]() For a larger view, click here! ![]() For a larger view, click here! ![]() For a larger view, click here!
