I do not know for sure but rumor in the lumber import trade Castello boxwood will no longer be exported in any large amounts if at all. So whatever is in the US will be the last of it and the couple source that have it are asking a huge price way to much. So I spent 2 weeks on the phone trying to track down some for our inventory [/quote1427495815] That's not good news...BTW your AC looks real good

I'm sure that I am not the only one that would like to see more installments. Fittings are an area that deserves attention. So much has been written on planking, I could use some fitting tips as well. Hope you are feeling better. If it makes you feel any better, even in the hot sun of SoCal, you can catch a cold. I have had bronchitis for two-weeks. Take care, G

We alone go through about 300 board feet a year so there will be some around for a little while longer. But once this supply runs out it will become a "rare" item. I really don't know what causes woods to vanish off the market. Maybe some loggers in south America wake up one day and decide I am not going to drag logs out of the jungle for $1.30 a day, maybe groups are putting pressure on governments to stop logging and cutting down the rain forests, some trees become endangered because of over cutting so a cutting ban goes into effect, sometimes the sheer cost to get the wood price it right out of the lumber trade. but I can say over the last few years it is getting harder and harder to get South American boxwood
