It is your thesis on drawing plans because this is difficult to do. So I got to thinking this is the Sir Edward Hawke it would be really quite the offering to ship modelers if someone like Gary took the original plans of Harold Hahn and offered a revised version a 2.0 of where he stopped with a OOPS! Gene both you and I know the oops and never go back this is Harold's oops so I will post Harold Hahn original drawings in the reference section under modeling plans low res so if you want I have the high res but they are like 25 megs each. and make available the CAD dwg files worthless I am thinking but a reference non the less.

As I have mentioned in the past, it has been extremely personally rewarding to be associated with such a fine group as those on MSB. The sharing and support is overwhelming in a great way. Dave1234, thanks for the link to the Nancy! DaveS, Can you send me a thumb drive of the plans? I will reimburse for any expenses. You should have my address on file. More later. An omen (also called portent or presage) is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future, often signifying the advent of change.

This all being said, I will pull an original copy of the Sir Edward Hawke plans from the NMM and CAD draw them. I see discrepancies when comparing the Hahn and Chapelle drawings and think it best to start from scratch rather than try to further decipher the hows and whys of what they did. There are many things that bother me about this plan, most of all, the extreme rake of the masts. ![]() ![]() [file] ![]() ![]()
