I started with the lines connecting the upper spar to the mast, then stringing a line in the leading edge & through the mast hoops, followed by lashing the upper edge to the upper spar then the lower edge , only afterattaching the lines to the lower spar.![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

![]() Registered Member #4534 Joined: Fri Dec 05 2014, 01:24amPosts: 19 | Thanks to all who have commented, I appreciate the that, and I appreciate the efforts of Arthur, helping me post pictures correctly. (Interestingly my Windows 8.1 does have Paint!) I am down to the final sail. As it has 5 lines (shrouds?) I decided that I should attach those to the sail before mounting, the lash the leading edge to the top mast. I made 4 guides along the trailing edges with copper wire. Now what is left is to balance the tensions on all of the lines to have them look proper! Then I have several lines and most of the deck furnishings to do. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
