It will be a POF build and perhaps a bit overambitious for a first model. The Washington doesn't appear to be overly complicated, nonetheless I'm sure it will be a solid challenge for me. I do plan to do a build log on it, but I'm a little conflicted about whether to post it here or on the MSW site or maybe both. I don't want to be disloyal to either. What would you advise?

Jeff Staudt was working on marketing his plans through the Nautical Research Guild since the plans and instructions would be sold through MSW I posted the build log there. Some of the guys here post their logs in both places but I found that takes too much time away from building. You can post your log at either site or both with no problems. I spend most of my time on this site but I keep an eye on MSW also. If you have any questions just post them you will get a lot of help at either site. Good luck with the build. Mike

I will probably post my log on both sites then as I'm sure I will have good use of all the help I can get. I will start milling my timber tomorrow. I have to decide what wood to use. I have enough basswood and also maple, plus some other species like walnut and African blackwood for trim here and there. I can't wait to get started! [ Edited Sun Sep 25 2016, 04:03pm ]
