Several small items, like lanterns, 4 anchors, an ensign, etc., have been installed as well. At this point, the model is completed because I already have a buyer who doesn't want the launch, longboat, and cutter placed on the model. Although I planned on installing only the lower masts with their corresponding rigging, the buyer does not have the room to display it in that fashion. The model will be picked up by the buyer early next week. Gene ![]() ![]() ![]()

My wife, who loves to assemble jigsaw puzzles, uses it to glue some of her puzzles to a backing for a permanent display. It seems like the right consistency for windows, so I tried it. It looks so real that I'll use it wherever windows are required on my model ships. It's easy to apply. Just dip a toothpick in the stuff, then swirl it around the edges of the pane until its solid. It seems to work on windows up to about 1/4" square. When dry, it looks like the real thing. I've tried 3-4 other products that claim to be specifically for that purpose, but they simply do not work. On top of that, they're more expensive than the Save-a-Puzzle Glue. This thick stuff can be purchased from Wal-Mart where you find jigsaw puzzles for a about $2, and a single bottle is enough for dozens of ships. Gene
