She's made entirely of basswood, except for birch mast and spar. Acrylic paint was used throughout. She took just over 100 hours to build from scratch. Before moving to Clare, MI, I used to spend around 40 hours a week in building models. Since getting involved in several different activities in this city, I'm lucky if I spend 8-10 hours per week.
