You can admire my lightness with the glue ... ![]() It will probably take a while to finish it and make it symmetric. I'm wondering what I'll do for the window. Use the ugly blueish plastic pieces provided, or make them from transparent plastic ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't like them, and I'm considering changing them with transparent plastic, and made the window with wooden sticks. Your opinion ? Do I have to put the plastic behind the metal (as in the picture with transparent) or before (as in the picture with blue plastic) ![]() ![]()

Painting the back of the plastic black and adding wood strips in front for the frame is an effective way of constructing the windows. There are some pictures that might help at the bottom of this page.

Another good tip I have used is to substitute quartz for the "glass". It can be obtained from stores which sell semi precious rocks for jewelry. This stuff will not EVER rot. It has been in the ground since day one and looks very much like old time window glass. One small sheet lasts a lifetime of models. (don't know if there are any of these stores in Paris) >:/ I think only the outside windows of the quarter galleries were blacked out for the more modest officers in the crew, ![]() Keith.
