After I've painted something and congratulated myself that I've done a good job I see something like this and realise I was right the first time.! The eyes on my bireme are decals and I printed them on an inkjet printer. However I don't know what 'make' the sheet was, it was given to me and I'm not sure who by. I remember reading that the eyes were actually painted stones and there's some writing saying 'the stones were broken' after a battle.

The instructions are really basic and deserve to be elaborate a little more but overall simple and relatively easy to understand and I have fun that's what counts. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jstor does require registration, but you get to read 6 scholarly articles per month for free. [ Edited Wed Sep 11 2019, 01:50am ]

I've just finished doing all the inventory for the Syren. Gotta grab some balsa for filler blocks. Whats your next one while you're waiting for me to get it together ![]()

For a skilful modeller as you, will not be a fun model to do Look at Arthur http://modelshipbuilder.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?7494.0 Amati model a more challenging model to build buying one, that one will have be my choice. ![]()

Charles, who did the sewing on your sails? Reason I ask is because I have a "How To" for sails. Maybe put it on Jigs and Things. Also liked the Amati kit by Arthur. Keith.
