I never found it much use so maybe it too will get cut up some time!  You asked about lacing the sails to the yards. I don't know whether it's strictly correct or not, but I did it slightly differently, passing the lashing through the preceding loop.  It's not that easy to see. but coming from the top right, it goes through the sail, behind and over the yard, then down and under the previous section before running to the next eyelet. | ||
