There are several ways to accomplish this task. Here is just one way. 1. Make sure you have completed the shaping/fairing of your bulkheads prior to fitting the bulwarks. 2. Dampen the bulwark with water 3. Use drops of CA glue like nails placed along various contact points on the bulkheads. Also run a bead of PVA glue in addition to the CA. 4. Carefully attach the bulwark starting from the center working forward and aft using the tabs/notches for positioning. 5. Hold the bulwark for a few seconds at each fastening point. The damp wood will instantly cure the CA glue. 6. You can add rubber bands around the hull to also secure the bulwark to shape as the glue dries As an alternative, some guys will use small nails to help secure the bulwark to each bulkhead. Hope this helps some.

For thinner applications I like Zap-A-Gap Medium CA. But really they are all about the same as long as you are using "fresh" glue. CA always works better when new.

I particularly like Loctite Pro and being in small tubes, they do not go 'off' as much (less wastage) - and the applicators they use are great also. cheers Pat [ Edited Mon Jan 23 2023, 10:53pm ]
