Also pulled this out of storage. It's actaully a luthiers vise for shaping nuts and saddles, but I've found it very hellpful in modeling. Eliiminated the need for one of thos large (well small) vises that you either clamp or bolt to your workbench. I like that vise, it would also work well as a machinist's vise (with a few mods to secure it to a tool plate) - the tall jaws would certainly give good holding and clearance/access in forming a few of the more complicated parts. cheers Pat | ||
