I am not sure if I am interpreting the plans correctly. I've attached a photo of the stanchions that I marked with a pen with what I think it the correct position on the planksheer based on the drawings (also attached). From the 3 photos of the drawing It looks like that the stanchions in positions 1 thru 18 are slanted outboard then they start to slant inboard thru position 29. Does that make sense? They will conform to the lay of the outer bulwark sheer which will have a slightly outboard angle to it. Perhaps close to vertical but likely never inboard. Do a google search on Pride of Baltimore and look at images of other builds of that model. That particular part of the build is not really of the best design in my opinion. | ||
