After looking all the cross section plans avail, I setteled on the TRITON because of its simple keel and rabbit config. I also have plans for the ECHO Cross Section and Bomb Vessel cross section from this site. I building the TRITON out of some 50 year old douglas fir I had from a remodel in my house. Nice stuff to work with. It has aged nicely. * First picture is the frame plan for the cross section. I mounted this to the gantry-style build board. * Second and Third pics are of the gantry build board ala Mike41 here on MSB. Thanks Mike. * Fourth picture are the floor futtocks on a billet ready for the scroll saw. * Pic five is me trying not to cut my fingers as I cut the floor futtock. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I just got set up on here today and it'll be nice to continue following your progress. It's a shame what happened to all the old Triton logs over on MSW and I have a bad feeling most won't start one back up. -Chad (ex-chach_86)

Thank you Winston. Looks like your site may be growing soon and quickly. Hang on to your hat. Michael, hope Mario and Mike41 have answered your question regarding the gantry-style build board. I really like it and it's reusable for just about any scratch build. Mike, my build area isn't always this neat. I clean it up before taking pictures. ![]() Thanks for the compliments Mario. You are definitely one of my mentors.
