My website's PR = 1/10, not very high but I generate it just about 2 month... I will try my best to increase it. Admin, You are a very good seoer, could you tell me your way to increase your forum's PR?

But I do know that there is a secret to getting a good page ranking if you are building your pages in HTML. First, make use of your meta tags, make sure you have a Title, Description and a few keywords related to the content of the page in the meta tags. Second, the title of the visible page should be the same as the title you put in the meta tag. Most importantly over everything. Make sure your page contains good content. While pictures are nice, good textual content is what will get you ranked a little higher in the page ranking. Hope that helps some.

I am sorry for my late respond because of my examinations. I do not know much about the way to improve PR. I see that much site in HTML have a very good ranking in Google. I think their admins are very good, but do not know why they do not make their site in PHP.... I have a better knowledge after reading your reply... I am very amazing that you join this forum in June 2009? So you have built it from that time and get PR=4 within 6 months ? That is a good result and i see that MSB have some members a day, that is so great! Do you make this forum yourselves? I see that your big ship model image next to logo is very beautiful. I think designer is very clever and creative. Do you make it?, or hire someone. I want to make a logo for my website. I hope you can help me to do that. Hope you and forum all the best

It has only been since June 2009 that this version of it has been up and running. This entire website is being run on a Content Management System (CMS) called e107 ( see www.e107.org to learn more). The site theme (visual appearance) including the ship image was custom designed by mcpeace (see bottom left corner of this page for link to his site). The MSB Logo was designed by Jeff Staudt a member here at the site.

I hope he could help me making a better banner for my site. I have never known of e107. I am installing it in my computer and try to discover more about it. In my country, most forums is often run on Vbulentin. I think you should know much about Vbulentin, but may I ask, why don't you choose Vbulentin for your forum? In next month i will make some website which is built in HTML as your advices. I hope I can have some more visitors from google. What's a pity that i made my main site in PHP. For more, could you tell me how many visitors visit your forum per day? I want to put my logo on your site. Could you tell me more about that by sending me a private message? Thank you for all

You can also check out e107 and other CMS websites online. There's no need to install it on your computer. Go to www.opensourcecms.com. From there you can check out various types of CMS sites. Most have Demo sites that you can check out, including the admin areas although some areas of those are limited a bit so as not to allow people to bring down the site. ![]() Getting visitors to your site can take a long time. Search engines help get some visitors here but the visitors from search engines are a very low percentage of the visitors we get. You would be better off to build a site (doesn't matter if its html or php) and then exchange links with other model building websites. If you have good content on your site word will get around to other modelers. Also keep in mind that you are dealing with a niche audience, so the number of visitors you get will be relative to the number of people out there interested in ships in bottles.

Sometimes i send them some email but I receive no reply. Hix. Could you please help me by sending me a copy of some emails that you or your friends use to invite exchange links? If I come across a site that I like and think its content would benefit the visitors here I just ask. Some will reply and some won't. that's just the way things are. You will get more that won't answer than those that do. You just need to be consistent in looking for other sites. Over time the links will build up. Should you have an email list? It depends on what you want to use it for.
