Over at our sister site Navy Board Models they are getting ready to start a new online modeling project the first week of September.
The 1:48 scale Schooner Bluenose model is based on drawings of Mr. Philip Eisnor of the orginal Schooner Bluenose. Mr. Eisnors Bluenose models are respected by many to be the most accurate representation of the Schooner Bluenose as the schooner was built in 1921.
For members of the Navy Board Models website the plans required to build this model are available at a reduced cost until the 15th of August 2009.
If you are interested in building a POF model of the original Bluenose this should prove to be a very interesting build.
